Breathe Around the Heart

Length: 62 mins

Teacher: Louis Jackson

Get ready to go slow. Take moments to experience. This practice reviews the three zones of breath (abdominal, thoracic, and clavicular) with a focus on developing awareness of the lung’s embrace of the heart. Starting with bare attention (simply noticing without doing) and a brief warm up, we use the Coregeous Ball on the front, sides, and back of the ribcage (and gut) to create a feeling of breath moving around the heart. Diaphragm vacuums aid. Complete the session with our standard “exit route” (Coregeous Ball on sternum, solar plexus, navel, low belly) and a colon massage for clearing. After the transportive savasana, stay for as long as you want (even when the recording ends). Write your own ending…
