Classes

The following classes are offered in-person at two different locations: Yoga of Los Altos (YOLA) and Yoga Belly in Mountain View.

For classes with Louis and Marguerite, we have 5, 10, and 20-class packs available for purchase on sliding scales. Drop-in classes are $30 each.

Toni Cupal

Monday, 9am-10:30am, weekly

Healing Flow Yoga

In this class, Toni shares the concepts, energy and touch from Healing Culture’s unique approach. She helps each student build awareness of what is happening within their body to better listen to the messages their body sends. Rolling work and spiritual teachings accompany this moderate level vinyasa flow.  The art and craft of her hands on assists are offered to willing recipients. She creates an experience that will feel healing to you and help you understand ways to support your mental and physical health. All levels of practitioners are welcome.

Louis Jackson & Marguerite Goguely

As alumni of the Healing Cultures Training Program, Louis and Marguerite will also create experiences that help students listen to and follow the intelligence of the body — in their own way, touching the intersection of yoga and the Healing Cultures tapestry of teachings. While Marguerite focuses on foundational yoga practices, Louis’ sessions explore reclaiming space in the body taken away by everyday lifestyle. Both bring their presence and creativity to their offerings to help support students on their own healing journeys. 

TUESDAY: 9:30am-11am

Yoga Tune Up© for Healing Support with Louis: Hips, Knees, Feet

Address imbalances in the legs (from toes to butt) while meeting every part of yourself in the body. Novel movements, self massage, core and breath integration. Conclude with gut work. Take your last light bite an hour before class.

Yoga Tune Up© for Healing Support with Louis: Neck and Shoulder Lab

Dissolve tension in the upper extremity with novel movements, core and breath integration, self massage.  Meet yourself in every layer of yourself. Conclude with gut work. Take your last light bite an hour before class.

Yoga foundations with Marguerite

With gentle “flow,” focus on the foundations of our practice. Use slow and intentional movements to develop greater awareness of breath and body. Take time to feel into the body’s natural sense of alignment in each pose and quiet the mind to better listen to the body. Whether seasoned or brand new, begin your yoga journey here.

Yoga Tune Up for Healing Support: Core and Breath Integration

Become ambidextrous with your respiratory diaphragm to help hold personal power. Use novel movements and self massage to become supple and strong as you connect with your vital center. Take your last bite of food two hours before class.

Synthesize elements from the other classes offered during the week and meet every part of yourself in the body using core and breath integration, novel movements, and self-massage. Conclude with gut work. Take your last light bite an hour before class.

Toni and Louis incorporate elements of the Yoga Tune Up method which require special props. These props can be purchased here.
