Where are you bracing?

With all the horrifying developments in Ukraine, right on the heals of the latest covid surge, I find myself bracing physically (and emotionally!) against the fear. Bracing, of course, is not all bad - we need the strength it brings to stand up against injustice like what is happening now, but it is not healthy when our bodies and nervous systems get stuck in brace position. This class will be an exploration of how we are bracing ourselves physically and emotionally and offer the opportunity to release the tension at least for a little while. Gaining the ability to move between strength and softness is a profound key to healing ourselves and the world. Please have all your props available: an alpha ball, a set of Tune Up therapy balls, a Coregeous ball, a strap or small towel, a couple blocks or books and a blanket.
